Not only did the U.S. Army give me an education but they taught me leadership values as well. One of the traits that I acquired from those values is initiative. I took the initiative to put wheels under the feet of our veterans who are trying to get back into society. I have a gift, so I'm told, of making engines run. “While struggling with PTSD and going through life trying to find my niche, I discovered recently that I was able to qualify for these services. The military has taught me discipline on one hand but I was struggling with PTSD and the after effects of it. Had it not been for the military I would have been in jail from an early age. I am grateful yet struggling with PTSD. When I weigh out the factors I am more grateful that I had my military service.”
