Warrior Transition

Warrior Transition is a small grassroots IRS-approved 501(c)3. We provide support in the DC Metro area, allowing us to support Veterans and their families from all over the country. We started out providing support to the Wounded Warrior Battalion (WWB). We have continued to support the WWBs after they split into two sites, one at Walter Reed and the other at Ft. Belvoir. We are an active member of the Army's Veteran Service Organization/Military Service Organization Round Table tied to supporting our Soldiers and their families. One of our projects is connected to empowering our Veterans through entrepreneurship support and training. We have also created the Warrior Transition Never Forget Project to create tribute sites for those that have died between 2003-present, protecting our great country. WT also provides veteran fishing trips on Chesapeake, Yoga in an outdoor environment, Healing Trails for Veterans, Meals for Veterans and their families, Veterans Day Celebrations, and participation in Wreaths Across America.
